b. 2004 in New Jersey, Sophia Shin is a junior pursuing a BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design, alongside a History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences concentration in Race, Gender, and Sexuality.

She is well versed in textile and apparel disciplines. Their practice mostly revolves around sculptural applications for textile work and always stems from drawing (recently with a lot of mixed media and play).
