Sophia Shin is a rising junior pursuing a BFA in Textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design. She is particularly focused on developing a body of knitwear and CAD surface design work, drawing much inspiration from memory and hand drawn illustrations. She is well versed in textile disciplines such as single bed machine knitting, floor loom hand weaving, natural and synthetic dyeing, and surface design, but also enjoys traditional drawing and sculpture.
